2-5pm: “Ye Olde Mediaeval” Lynsted Fete: The theme this year should inspire those with a liking for our more ancient past! This traditional Fete will take place in the meadow opposite the pond thanks again to the landowner’s generosity. This very popular event raises funds for local charitable groups and Lynsted Church fabric. Donations of prizes and stall items for sale are very much welcome - bottles, books, cakes, children’s lucky dip, home produce, nearly new, sweets, refreshments. All Day. Faversham International Hop Festival. More than 20,000 visitors enjoy this magnificent and colourful event. If you are in the area, this is well worth visiting for street theatre, Morris dancing outside many pubs and in the square, good ale, food of many kinds, music at every corner, and good family fun. Pick up your own hop-bines too.
