  • Monday Group - 1.30-3.00pm - every Monday of term-time.  Meetings in Yew Tree, Faversham Road, Wychling for study, prayer, tea drinking, cake consuming and chat. All welcome, just turn up or ring Nicky Lord (886473) or Lis Bayford (886392). From 17th November, theme is Advent.
  • Lynsted Church Youth Club. Meets every Thursday, 8pm until 9.30 pm. New Members most welcome 50p admission, refreshments included. Contact Jo ( 521714 ) or just come along! 13-19 yrs age group - PS2, Nintendo WII, karaoke, table tennis, air hockey, pool, games, music, singing, art, crafts and trips out.
  • Church Youth Drama Group.  Meet every Friday, 6-7pm  in term time Fridays in Doddington Village Hall. Ages 11 upwards welcome. We perform short sketches in family worship. No need to be a Christian to join in, just enjoy drama and chocolate biscuits. Turn up or call Nicky Lord or Barbara Roberts (886332). Some sessions will be led by Anna Seabrook, a fun and dynamic drama graduate.
  • Coffee Drop-In at Norton Village Hall takes place (10.30 am until Noon) on the first Tuesday of every month.
  • Tea and Chat at Greenstreet Methodist Church takes place (2.30-4.30 pm) on the third Thursday of every month
  • Ladies Fellowship Meal at Teynham Scout Hut - Every Third Thursday of the month: 7.30pm - (plenty of parking space and well-lit). Our main aim over the last five years has just to be relaxed together and be ourselves. Please phone Pauline on 520129 or Ann on 520228 if you would like to be included - YOU WOULD BE MADE VERY WELCOME
  • The Church of St. Mary, Norton, is open to visitors every Saturday.  2-4pm from Easter to Harvest

UPDATED: Until further noticeOpen Door Service” at Lynsted on the third Sunday will be at 7.15 pm.  The service is suitable for all ages, informal and flexible. Coffee and refreshments afterwards.

16th November: We are very pleased to announce the appointment of Rev Richard Birch as Parish Priest for Doddington w Wychling & Newnham.  He is currently a self supporting minister in Hythe, and also works as a Research Scientist at Givaudan, a perfume manufacturer, at Ashford, from which he will be taking early retirement at the end of the year. Richard will be Licensed at Newnham Church on Sunday 16th November at 3:30pm.  From 2009 he will be able to adopt  a more flexible work pattern in the Parishes during the week.  More details about this nearer the time.  We expect Richard, with his wife Sylvia, to move into Doddington Vicarage during the Autumn sometime.

15th November: 6.30 pm: River Praise. Guest Speaker - Mark Price from “Open Doors”, a charity supporting Christians suffering persecution. Coffee and cakes served afterwards. Youth Room open. For more details - 521714

15th November: 7.30pm: Quiz Night - Oare Village Hall. Tables of six required.  Cost £3.50 per head (includes tea or coffee and mince pies in interval.  Proceeds to Faversham Animal Welfare and St Peter’s Church Fund. More Details contact 531527 or 532596

6th December: 10.30 - 2.00 pm: Newnham Christmas Fair at the Village Hall

13th December: 10am - 2pm: Christmas Fair at Norton Village Hall, Provender Lane. Stalls, seasonal gifts, Christmas wreaths, books and much more!  Plus the 49 Club £100.00 Christmas Draw.  All proceeds to Friends of St Mary’s Chursh, Norton.

18th December: 7.30pm: Ladies Fellowship Meal at Teynham Scout Hut: Traditional Christmas meal and games night. Contact Pauline (520129) or Ann (520228).
